pumping runners along the way.

Eliza Dopira announced as vocalist for the National Anthem at the 2011 Melbourne & Beaches Music Marathon
Soprano Eliza Dopira has been praised for her “vibrant tone” (Cecilia Porter, WashingtonPost)as well as her “thoughtful phrasing” and “shining work” (Tim Smith,Baltimore Sun). Ms. Dopira is a native of Brevard and daughter to Patrick and Judy Healy. She holds degrees in vocal performance and operafrom Florida State University , and PeabodyConservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Eliza has performed opera roles with Sarasota Opera, Lake George Opera of Saratoga Springs , and Washington Summer Opera. An accomplished concert artist, she was chosen to perform in concert with the National Symphony, River Cities Symphony, Bryn Mawr Choral, Johns Hopkins Choral Society and Peabody Symphony Orchestra. Aside from her busy singing career, Eliza leads the Concert Choir and String ensemble at Florida Institute of Technology, and maintains a private voice studio.
