Good
running and biking paths are available on coastal road A1A in Indialantic
and Melbourne Beach and also along Riverside Drive in Indialantic.
Running
on the beach can be excellent in Cocoa Beach, but the beaches tend
to be too slopey and the sand too deep in the Indialantic and Melbourne
areas.
Big box and chain store shopping is available at the Melbourne Square
Mall.
Those looking for beach attire or local souvenirs should head north up A1A to
Cocoa Beach where you'll find it all at the World Famous Ron Jon Surf Shop and
its equally giant neighbor, The Cocoa Beach Surf Company.
Antique, art and boutique shopping is available in both downtown Melbourne
and the old Eau Gallie district of Melbourne.
Airboat rides through the Florida
marsh are available in Melbourne at Camp Holly www.campholly.net 321-723-2179
and in Cocoa by Air Boat Ecotours www.airboatecotours.com 321-638-9565
Major
theme parks such as Walt Disney World, EPCOT, Disney MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom,
Universal Studios, Sea World and others are about an hour and 30 minutes west
of Melbourne.
